If you have already studied Spanish before, the week before starting your course, you will have to do a level test. No, you don't need to buy any textbooks. To learn Spanish effectively, the teacher designs the materials that will be used in each class, so you only need a notebook and a pen to take notes. It is very easy!

Yes! At the end of your course, you will receive a attendance certificate. Keep in mind that you will have to have attended at least 85% of your classes to be able to receive it.

ARRIVAL IN VALENCIA

Each student is responsible for reserving the details of their flight, but we can advise you on the airlines with which Valencia airport operates. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

A member of the Hispania Team will pick you up at the agreed meeting point and take you to your desired address. You can book the transfer from or to the airport in advance.

If you are a citizen of the European Union, you will not need to apply for a visa. If you are a non-EU citizen, you may have to apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate.

If you need a study visa and have chosen a long-term course, the school will provide you with an acceptance letter. You will have to present this letter along with the rest of the documents in order to start the application procedures for a student visa.

ACCOMMODATION IN A STUDENT FLAT

The student apartment accommodation offers students the possibility of living in a shared apartment with other students of the school. Each student will have his or her own room and will share the common areas of the apartment (kitchen, living room, bathroom, etc.) with the rest of the roommates.

ACCOMMODATION IN A HOST FAMILY

No, the host families usually live close to the school, around twenty minutes away. In fact, most of our students walk or bike to school every day, so if you choose to live with a host family, you probably won't need to use public transport to attend class.

Yes, your host family will give you a key to the entrance of the house or apartment. However, keep in mind that the rooms in the home of host families usually don't have a lock.

Normally, host families allow students to make use of their washing machine, especially during longer stays. However, we recommend that you talk to your host family before using the washing machine to make sure they agree on this.
